A few recent success stories:

"New"- limited as a migrant worker by coming from a surrounding country; with few legal options, went from sex work, drugs and poor health overall, to becoming a passionate, senior barista at a fancy hipster cafe, able to provide for himself and also care for his elderly mother.

"Chad"- abused and bullied by men in his village, fled to BKK hoping to help his parents financially. He’s also become a creative, gifted barista and photographer, able to provide for himself and his parents.

"Pop"- was in prison during the pandemic, which was awful, yet determined to become sober and change; and has now become a trusted, kind, successful beautician (with awesome chef skills too). Lek became a leader with our students and boldly shares her testimony with them.

“Fortitude often isn’t earned in a day but in the steady resolve to learn from that which grows us. The extraordinary part? We rarely notice it’s there until we need it. Like a tree that’s small but has deep roots, our strength is often only shown when circumstances attempt to uproot us: That’s when our ability to stay grounded, be centered, and weather the storm proves how much fortitude has been quietly growing in us just beneath the surface.” -Joanna Gaines
